André Bimray
Andre is part of the gardening industry for more than 30 years and played an
important role to promote SANA and gardening in general.
He was involved with Sakata MayFord for more than 20 years and had several
roles in the company, mainly in sales & marketing. His knowledge of seed is
extraordinary, including grass seeds. During his term with MayFord the
company was very involved in SANA activities. After MayFord he joined Ball Straathof in a sales capacity and the involvement in SANA continued.
He then joined Efekto in sales and marketing roles and is currently the Managing Director of the company. Again, the involvement in SANA continued through involvement and company sponsorships.
He was a member off the SANA Exco, involved in projects, from 2002 to 2004.
From 2011 to 2013 he was an Elected Member on the SANA Exco and a member of the Marketing committee, Life is a Garden.
Throughout his career he made lasting contributions to promote SANA as well as gardening in general.
He is a worthy recipient of the SANA Gold Award.
