Our 5th annual SANA Golf Day was held at Wingate Park in Pretoria East on 24 April. Sixty eight players joined us on a rather chilly morning and set off on their round of golf full of confidence that they might walk away with the Golf Day floating tophy. The day warmed up and by afternoon the weather was warm and sunny.
Afterwards everyone relaxed and shared a few laughs at the bar. The prize giving and dinner was held in the banquet room with Paul Vonk as MC for the evening. The golf day Floating Trophy was won by Servest with Tuberflora in 2nd place, followed by Greenhouse Technologies in 3rd and Vrone in 4th place.
Servest also walked away with first prize in the Yellow ball competition. The Starke Ayres floating trophy for the Longest Drive was won by Charles Pieterse. The three recipients of the Closest to the Pin prizes were Etienne Hoeksma (recipient of the MayFord floating trophy), Charles Pieterse and Neil James. Congratulations to all prize winners!
