Monica joined Sakata in 2005 as Marketing Coordinator and immediately travelled to Kleinmond for the SAGIC/SANA Convention that year in 2005, and she has been intimately involved in our SANA activities ever since, attending every single Convention since then, including getting stuck in the lift and being totally locked out of her room at the memorable Convention at the Strand in the WC!
In addition, through her promotional and marketing activities she has probably attended every single SANA Trade Day as well in the past 20 years, as well as many if not all of the Spring Ball and Bursary Fundraising dinners and soirées. Moreover, during the past two or three years she has served on both the Bursary Fund as well as the SANA Convention committees.
Her ready smile, spontaneity and eagerness to contribute is legendary. Throughout all these years she has always waved the SANA flag high with passion and if these awards are about dedication and service to SANA and the industry, you would probably struggle to find someone else with these credentials and this impressive track record.
